Preparation and Characterization of Ag Nanoparticle/SiO₂ Composite for Optical Application

Abstract A facile method to fabricate volumetric light-guide plate (LGP) by micro-nanostructure of Ag/SiO 2 composite was presented in this study. The Ag NPs/SiO were first prepared from a mixture yellowish-brown NPs colloids and SiO powder electrostatic self-assembly method. Its chemical physical properties investigated scanning transmission microscopy (TEM), electron (SEM) Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). small particles (Ag/SiO composite) the LGP could produce multiple scattering effect with different size micro-nanoparticles, which improve light-scattering performance LGP. effective light material into obtained increased amount particles. Meanwhile, surface plasmon resonance also improves LGP, be further applied design device optical application. In additional, mechanism are discussed presented.
